SWERUS atmospheric methane blog #11: Beary Red Again

This is a short post. I’m sure others will post some of their photos of the arctic zoo we passed yesterday, near the sea ice edge. At first a couple of polar bears were spotted in the distance, then there were a few walruses. Then more walruses. And more, and more and more walruses. Hundreds. And more polar bears – 12 at least, I think. And they were looking hungrily at the walruses.

Polar bear watching walrus.

I wrote in my third blog that blood “is really red on ice.” Guess what? It’s really red on polar bears, too. Mmm-mmm. Tasty walrus.
